Correcting a finalised match result

Who can do this

Only tournament organisers and system administrators can edit a finalised result. Regular players cannot change published results — once finalised, a result can only be amended through admin re-finalisation. The workflow includes fail-safes to reduce accidental changes.

Steps

1. Locate the competition and open the affected match.
2. Un-finalise the match. This withdraws the published result and unlocks editing.
3. Make the correction — scores, or the assigned players (for example, fixing a doubles pairing).
4. Save the change.
5. Re-finalise the match. The corrected result is published and resubmitted to WTN.
