Entering results and scoring matches

Updated 8 Oct 2026

With the schedule finalised, you can enter results. Open the competition and select View Results. Results are grouped under Pending and Finalised tabs, and you can Export Results from here.

Entering scores

  • Enter the games (or shots) for each side, set by set – for example 6‑4, 6‑3.
  • For a set decided by a tiebreak, record both the set score and the tiebreak points.
  • For a match‑tiebreak final set (e.g. [10‑6]), enter it as a further set using the tiebreak point totals.
  • Finalise the match once the score is in. Until you finalise, the match stays pending and later rounds can’t see who advanced.

Score in order through the draw

Later rounds only know their competitors once the earlier matches that feed them have been finalised. Score from the first round forward – round 1, then quarter‑finals, then semi‑finals, then finals and play‑offs. If a later fixture shows no competitors, an earlier feeding match hasn’t been finalised yet.

Byes, walkovers and forfeits

  • A bye needs no scoring – the competitor advances automatically when the round is processed.
  • For a walkover or forfeit, enter a placeholder winning score for the advancing side (for example 4‑0, 4‑0) and finalise, so the bracket progresses.
  • Record retirements as the score that stood at the point of retirement, with the continuing player as the winner.

If a match won’t finalise (“Unable to finalise the side match”), the maximum number of sets is almost certainly set higher than your format. See Configuring how results are scored.
